The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for 2 Laboratory Technician's to support their Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures. Do you have the skills required, if so, please read on!

Days Per Week: 4 on/4 off, 9am to 9pm
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,834 + £2000 location allowance per annum

The day to day
* To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
* Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
* Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
* Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
* To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
* To keep accurate records.
The Essentials
* Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Keen eye for detail
* Possess excellent time management skills.
* Methodical in your approach
