We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support that helps every child reach their full potential.
Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnoldswick
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time: 8:30am – 3.30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
* Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous.
