Production Director
Location: Telford
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to £50k per annum + Bonus + Car Allowance
Hours: Monday – Friday DAYS – with an early finish on a Friday
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and well-established SME manufacturing business in Telford. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Production Director to lead their production operations. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to shape and influence the future of the business.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Manager ready to step up, or an established Production Director looking for a fresh challenge in a dynamic, bespoke manufacturing environment.
The Production Director will be responsible for:
* Leading daily production activities to ensure targets are met efficiently and on time
* Planning and implementing production schedules and best practices to maximise productivity
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
* Driving quality control and compliance with safety standards
* Managing and developing a team of operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Identifying and resolving operational issues to reduce downtime and improve output
We are looking for someone who has experience in:
* A Production Manager or Production Director role within a manufacturing environment
* Leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
* Project-based or bespoke manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
