Interaction Education are delighted to be working on the below role on behalf of one of our partner schools based in Romford.
We are seeking a proactive and organised Attendance Administrator to join our partner schools office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student attendance, ensuring accurate data collection, and promoting good attendance across the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor daily attendance and maintain accurate attendance records using the school s MIS system
* Follow up on unexplained absences and liaise with parents/carers
* Prepare and distribute attendance reports for SLT and external agencies
* Support safeguarding procedures by flagging attendance concerns promptly
* Assist with administrative tasks as required by the school office team
Requirements
* Previous experience in a school or administrative setting preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS/Arbor)
* A clear DBS check is required
