Product Manager Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, from insights and analysis to helping the business deliver and sell the product. You will determine the scope of current and future product lines by writing and reviewing product specifications and requirements, managing the product lifecycle from inception to phase-out and replacement. The Product Manager leads cross-functional teams from product conception through to launch.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain a high level of industry knowledge.
2. Propose and develop product strategies for specific markets.
3. Coordinate product strategy with sales and marketing teams.
4. Innovate in conceiving new products.
5. Focus on customer and sales needs.
6. Create detailed Offering Requirement (OR) documents for new products and assist R&D with design requirements and specifications.
7. Develop and maintain the product roadmap.
8. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely product development based on ORs.
9. Work with marketing and sales to create product launch and promotion strategies.
10. Introduce new products and sales strategies to local sales teams.
11. Monitor and analyze product performance and suggest improvements.
12. Collaborate with QA teams to resolve design issues promptly.
13. Manage EOL and product lifecycle information for future product creation.
14. Assist R&D with product approval requirements.
15. Report on product performance regularly.
16. Analyze sales and product data.
17. Meet with suppliers to explore new products, services, and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Product Management. You should be detail-oriented, strategic, proactive, and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels within internal and external teams.
