Business Process Consultant (Contract)
Location: Remote (Travel will be involved)
About the role:
We're looking for a Business Process Consultant for a contract engagement with a large, multi-site group. The focus is on mapping and redesigning operational processes ahead of significant organisational change, including AI and automation adoption.
You'll be providing the structured analysis and process design that underpins effective decision-making at scale. Working with central teams, you'll be reviewing current-state operations, documenting end-to-end processes and facilitating stakeholder workshops to agree future-state ways of working.
This is a remote position which will require occasional travel to sites across the UK sites, so candidates must have a full clean driving licence and vehicle.
Responsibilities:
* As-is process mapping and documentation & designing clear, agreed to-be processes
* Identifying inefficiencies, duplication, risk and compliance gaps
* Supporting MIS alignment, data quality and reporting
* Enabling readiness for AI and automation initiatives
* Driving a continuous improvement approach across the business
Requirements:
* A background in large consultancy; you're used to coming in, getting up to speed quickly, and delivering
* Proven experience mapping and improving processes across multi-site organisations
* Strong BPMN, Lean or similar process mapping experience
* Confidence in leading workshops and engaging with both technical & non-technical stakeholders
* Understanding of MIS, data flows and reporting dependencies
