Academics Ltd are seeking motivated and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a welcoming secondary school in Devizes. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across a variety of subjects, ensuring that students remain focused and engaged while completing pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher.
This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to develop their classroom management skills and gain first-hand experience in a secondary school environment.

Ideal Candidate
* A bachelor's degree or cover supervisor experience* Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting is beneficial* Strong communication and organisational skills* Confident managing behaviour and maintaining classroom engagement* A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Responsibilities
* Supervising classes using pre-set lesson plans provided by teachers* Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment* Managing student behaviour in line with school policies* Supporting students with their work and encouraging participation* Reporting any issues or feedback to the relevant teaching staff
