Your new role
Our client is looking for an organised and detail-oriented financial accountant to join their team on a permanent full-time basis, reporting to the Financial Controller. This role plays an integral part in supporting the smooth running of our finance operations. The role will support senior finance personnel with ad hoc projects and be a key support and provide cover for other team members (purchase and sales ledger) where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience of accounting in a project or professional service environment, involving time and expenses
* Ideally part qualified accountant and working towards completing qualification
* Experience of using Excel to an excellent level and accounting software
* Has good organisational skills
* Excellent reconciliation experience and self-checking of outputs
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
