Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a care home setting. Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Implement and monitor individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Supervise and support junior staff members, providing guidance and training as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress
* Dispense medications
* Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the care home environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential.
* Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of the residents
