Capgemini Invent’s Business Technology practice delivers outcomes across business and IT environments. The IT Strategy & Performance team is one of the fastest growing teams within the practice, and we are looking for Senior and Managing Consultant level candidates.
Your Role
Senior or Managing Consultant in IT Strategy & Performance will work across three core disciplines: Technology Strategy, IT Cost & Value, and IT Mergers and Acquisitions.
* Lead workstreams and project teams in technology engagements such as technology strategy & transformation and technology cost transformation.
* Drive cultural and organisational change with clients to align IT and business stakeholders on strategy, cost and value objectives.
* Translate complex technical findings into actionable commercial insights and deliverable strategies.
* Support development of our offerings and build capability within the IT Performance team.
* Provide leadership on emerging technologies and digital capabilities such as AI, advanced analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud‑native architectures.
Additional Responsibilities
* Business Development – Lead or contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, and client pitches.
* Internal contribution – Participate in campaign development, whitepapers, and practice development.
* Learning & development – Engage in training and certifications to support career growth.
Your Profile
* Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience in technology strategy or IT cost & value.
* Demonstrated record delivering digital strategy & transformation projects or technology cost transformation.
* Technical and strategic expertise in target operating model design, transformation road‑mapping, business‑IT alignment, IT financial management, total cost of ownership, application portfolio rationalisation, benchmarking and optimisation.
* Experience managing teams/workstreams in complex delivery environments and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
* Ability to translate real‑world technology applications into value‑driving investments.
Desirable Experience
* Working in a major consulting firm or in industry with a consulting background, possibly within an in‑house strategy function.
* Experience in a matrixed organisation, supporting proposition building and growth.
* Business development experience, generating revenue from relationships and networks.
