Learning & Development Administrator - Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service - Cookstown Do you come from a business/admin background and interested in entering the public sector? Apply now to express interest in this role with Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service. About the role:
1. £16.68 per hour
2. Monday to Friday
3. 36.25 hours a week
4. Temporary (6 months with a possible extension)

What you'll be doing in this role:
6. As an integral member of the Learning and Development team, provide a professional and customer focused administrative and front of house service to the L&D Centre, to support corporate objectives and those of the Service Support Directorate.
7. Provide support and advice to NIFRS personnel regarding operational learning and development (L&D) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of training and associated events.
8. Provide a Helpdesk facility for users and administrators of the Learning Management System. System maintenance, development, training and user access.
9. Contract monitoring and supplier liaison to support budget and finance management.
10. To work with the HR Advisor, Learning & Development Business Support towards the effective and efficient delivery and implementation of all Learning & Development (L&D) interventions, to support NIFRS’ organisational need.
11. To work in partnership with the L&D Team, Departmental Heads, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Course Directors, Faculty Instructors and other relevant staff to design, create and produce professional L&D course materials and relevant supporting documentation.
What you'll need for this role:
12. Possess a HNC-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. business administration, IT, Multimedia)
13. Have at least two years’ experience of working in a Learning & Development/Administrative role.
14. OR possess 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include English and Maths;
15. Have at least five years’ experience of working in a Learning & Development/Administrative role.
16. Have experience in interpreting data and producing reports on learning management information.
17. Possess a full, current UK driving licence Category B which enables the post holder to fulfil the full requirements of the role.
