Salary: £26,000 - 28,000 per year Requirements: Experience in IT technical support, preferably in 1st or 2nd line Working knowledge of O365 and Windows 10 (including servers 2016/19) Exposure to firewall security Proven problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams Knowledge of networking systems, including routers and switches Familiarity with JIRA for service desk ticket management Understanding of CISCO, DNS, and DHCP is a plus Access to a car and ability to be onsite 5 days a week Responsibilities: Provide technical support across three core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe, and Burton Troubleshoot 1st and 2nd line enquiries related to IT systems Collaborate closely with the IT manager to resolve issues Support a variety of technical equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens, and telephone systems Manage service desk tickets using the JIRA system, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs Gain experience with core networking systems, including managing WiFi backups and VOIP systems Technologies: Cisco Firewall Support JIRA Network Security Windows Office 365 More: We are Major IT, partnering with a leading player in the FMCG and Food Manufacturing industry.
