A unique opportunity is available to support a thoughtful and professional lady living in the Halton area near Lancaster.
The main role will be to help organise and plan daily living tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, supporting medication management and encouraging eating. Personal care is minimal but may be required occasionally. Tasks will also include managing a busy diary and notetaking when needed.
There will be occasions when it is necessary to attend conferences, whilst the lady delivers training, whilst she studies at Sheffield University, and act as a companion at these trips and events. Please note some of these may include an overnight stay.
Knowledge and awareness of neurodivergent differences, in particular ASD, would be an advantage, and experience of working in a similar role, whilst not essential, would be desirable.
The applicant must have excellent organisation and communication skills, be well-presented and have a kind and compassionate nature.
Sharing some common interests would be an advantage, including disability rights, arts and crafts, music, and being outdoors. The applicant needs to be comfortable around cats and a friendly dog who lives at the house.
A car driver with a clean driving license and access to their own vehicle with business insurance is essential in this role.
