Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner - Children with Disabilities | 8163 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £36,124 to £37,938 per annum | Grade I | King's Lynn

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time Senior Residential Children's Practitioner at Marshfields based in West Lynn. As an Ofsted registered Residential Children's home, we provide short breaks for children with disabilities, autism, and/or complex health needs aged 5 to 17 yrs.
As the Senior Practitioner, you will provide leadership support and supervision to the team, with a specific emphasis on striving for excellence through quality and consistency of practice. Crucial to this role is the ability to mentor, model, and direct best practice to Children's Residential Practitioners to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and young people.
This role requires a Social Work, appropriate nursing/Occupational Therapy qualification, or a level 5 in Residential Care. To be successful, you will have the knowledge and skills to work with children with a range of complex needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, we offer a friendly and supportive working environment where learning and development are supported and valued.
Marshfields is committed to providing child-centered, individualized care in a fun and positive environment. The Senior Practitioner is required to work shifts including nights, sleep-ins, and be part of the out-of-hours on-call rota, for which a payment is made.
