As a Cleaning Operative with Sodexo, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times. This is an essential role that requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.To manage a team of cleaning operatives & Front Line Colleagues to deliver a specific standard of cleaning, to client specification To be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the cleaning operatives & Front line teams within your specified team. What you'll do:Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client, as requested.Undertake specific training on the relevant cleaning offerWear the company uniform at all times whilst at workWear any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by the managerComply to all client policies / procedures in relation to housekeeping/infection control/ securityEnsure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the cleaning managerConduct all required training with cleaning operatives in relation to operational/ legal / client / cleaning offer requirementsEnsure that all cleaning operatives adhere to the site/cleaning offer colour coding policyTo report all building defects to the cleaning manager / clientTo deliver staff team briefings, as requiredTo attend team / client meetings, as required To collate information in relation to payroll, as required.To complete all administration, as specified by the regional supervisorTo liaise with the specified client contact, as directed by the regional supervisorTo manage the ordering and distribution of cleaning consumables To undertake cleaning audits in relation to service delivery / offer compliance, as requested.What you bring:A strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail.Good communication skills.A positive and proactive attitude.Essential:Experience of the undertaking of all cleaning tasksComputer literateBasis numeracy / literacy skillDesirable:Supervisory experienceNVQBICSc COPCWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.You'll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you'll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you'll be able to thrive in your own way.
