The Performing Arts Technician will support drama, theatre and school productions, ensuring technical equipment and performance spaces operate smoothly. The Role Key responsibilities include: • Preparing stage equipment, lighting and sound systems for performances • Supporting drama and performing arts lessons with technical setup • Managing theatre equipment including lighting rigs and sound systems • Assisting with rehearsals and school productions • Maintaining performance spaces and stage equipment • Supporting backstage management during performances • Managing props, costumes and production resources • Ensuring all equipment is safe and maintained correctly • Assisting staff with technical production planning • Supporting extracurricular performing arts activities The role requires strong technical skills and enthusiasm for theatre and live performance.
