Job Description
You'll deliver end‑to‑end audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of SMEs and mid‑market clients. This includes fieldwork, file preparation, reviewing junior work, presenting findings, and ensuring all audit standards are met. You'll work closely with managers, contribute to improving audit processes, and collaborate with other service lines.Key Responsibilities
3. Lead audits from planning to completion
4. Review working papers and support junior staff development
5. Prepare statutory accounts and audit documentation
6. Present findings and recommendations to clients
7. Maintain compliance with relevant audit standards
8. Use modern audit and accounting software (training provided)
9. Contribute to ad‑hoc assurance work as needed
The Successful Applicant
The Succesful applicant will:
10. ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
11. Strong background in audit within practice
12. Confident leading audits and mentoring juniors
13. Clear communicator with strong client‑facing ability
14. Proactive, team‑focused, and keen to progress
15. Able to commute to Liverpool city centre
