Overview
The Performance Marketing & Ecommerce Trading Manager is a Day Rate contract role (Inside IR35), hybrid/3 days per week in the Chertsey office. Role split: 50% Performance marketing (PPC and Paid Search) and 50% Ecommerce Trading. You will drive commercial success across our online sales channels and collaborate with local subsidiaries to achieve ambitious sales targets.
This is an exciting opportunity to translate data into actionable insights, communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and contribute to strategic initiatives such as SKU rationalization to support the European eStore performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Part of the D2C Channel Management and BI team, helping to deliver revenue targets and support new sales initiatives across 17 European subsidiaries and 32 markets. Work with all categories and functions to drive sales and optimize performance across storefronts (DTC, EPP, SMB, Shop App, E-Promoter).
* Drive the commercial performance of European subs across all online sales channels. Identify drivers of success and underperformance, collaborating with local subsidiaries to implement growth strategies. Serve as the main point of contact for each subsidiary.
* Weekly Trading Calls: Host weekly trading calls with subsidiaries; analyze performance trends and actions taken by local teams to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
* Root Cause Analysis and Action Planning: Investigate under/over performance, gather subsidiary insights, and develop clear, actionable plans with follow-up on agreed actions.
* SLT Reporting and Feedback Loop: Prepare weekly performance updates for the Senior Leadership Team, articulating trends, drivers, and proposed actions.
* Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Lead QBRs with local subsidiaries focusing on eStore performance, challenges, and opportunities; ensure follow-up on progress.
* Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics tools to pinpoint issues and opportunities; formulate clear questions for subsidiaries to drive focused discussions.
* Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Build strong cross-functional relationships at European and local levels to drive eStore success.
* SKU Rationalization Program Contribution: Participate in and support subsidiaries with implementation, ongoing performance analysis, and revenue mitigation plans.
What we need for this role
* Proven experience (5+ years) in e-commerce trading, online sales management, or a similar role, ideally within a multi-market environment.
* Proven ability to work with and manage/support senior stakeholders; strong soft skills are essential.
* Deep understanding of various online sales channels and their performance drivers.
* Strong experience working with digital data, analyzing complex datasets, and drawing actionable conclusions. Metrics include paid/owned/organic traffic, conversion rates, purchase funnel, CAC, sales by division, and other e-commerce metrics.
* A passion for metrics, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to balance detailed data with strategic, big-picture thinking.

* Experience working across multiple European markets.
Technical Skills with Analytical Tools
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot, complex formulas, Pivot Tables).
* Experience with BI tools and interpreting reports.
* Proficient in PowerPoint for clear, concise presentations to senior audiences.
* Strong prioritization and delivery management; ability to collaborate with diverse partners across markets.
* Problem-solving, ownership of initiatives, and drive to successful completion.
* Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
