About the Role
Suffolk County Council is seeking an experienced Consultant Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub in Ipswich. This is a fast-paced, decision-focused role requiring strong analytical skills and extensive MASH knowledge.
Working arrangements:3 days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and analyse information following social care referrals.
* Assess risk and need in line with Suffolk's Thresholds Document.
* Make clear, evidence-based recommendations for next steps.
* Work collaboratively within the MASH environment, engaging with multi-agency partners to build an accurate picture of risk.
* Ensure timely and high-quality decision-making to safeguard children and families.
About You
* MASH experience is essential
* Experienced Social Worker with strong assessment and decision-making skills.
* Confident working in a busy, multi-agency environment.
* Able to work on-site full-time at Landmark House.
