Responsibilities
* Provide Expert Support – Advise operational teams on environmental and sustainability matters, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
* Develop and Deliver Plans – Create and maintain environmental management and sustainability plans aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure Compliance – Oversee environmental planning, permitting, and adherence to all relevant legislation and standards.
* Monitor and Improve Performance – Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
* Collaborate and Engage – Build strong working relationships with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders to promote environmental excellence.
Qualifications
* Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in environmental management or sustainability, ideally within construction or utilities.
* Strong understanding of environmental legislation and permitting processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
