Position good to knows ITS Property Maintenance are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Electrician to work on a long-term social housing maintenance contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, fault finding, and EICR testing in tenanted and void domestic properties across SO and SP Postcodes You must a full UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be supplied for this role Additional Information: This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in domestic maintenance, looking to work in a supportive team with long-term job security. Key elements of the role and your responsibilities You will be working in Southern Hampshire and West Wiltshire Here you will be focused on day to day occupied repairs and maintenance of social housing properties for a large Housing Association For this role you should be able to demonstrate a core skilled trade of Electrical Maintenance and the ability to undertake a range Electrical duties including: Electrical fault diagnosis and repair Carrying out EICRs and issuing reports Rewiring, fuse board changes, and remedial works Smoke alarm and extractor fan installations Ensuring compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) Maintaining accurate records and certificates Providing excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including BS 7671 and internal policies, while ensuring appropriate PPE and tools are used at all times Carry out safe and compliant electrical repairs and installations, prioritizing first-time fixes and high standards of workmanship Diagnose and rectify faults across domestic electrical systems, including full and partial rewires, in accordance with company and industry standards Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues to keep all parties informed of job progress and outcomes.
