OTE GBP £42,000.00/Yr. Overview: Business Development Manager - Automotive Parts. Salary: £32,000 per annum basic, with bonus opportunity of £10,000 per annum plus a company car. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm. Are you looking for a career-defining role and eager to be part of something new and exciting? Here at Charles Hurst, we seek an ambitious and talented Trade Parts Business Development Manager to join our successful team in Belfast. We desire someone passionate about the automotive industry with extensive knowledge in parts, either franchise or aftermarket. With direct purchase accounts with over ten franchise marques plus an established aftermarket range, we offer a unique proposition to our customer base.
The role involves developing and growing trade parts sales within the Trade Hub area, operating from our Trade Parts Hub. Responsibilities include identifying new and existing customers, building and maintaining relationships with independent garages, body shops, and fleet sectors, and expanding parts ranges purchased. Key abilities include maintaining product knowledge, working within sales strategies to increase revenues, supporting the Trade Hub team, maintaining accurate customer records, and collaborating with the Parts Sales and Accessories Manager and Transport Manager to focus on high-potential areas. Additionally, developing strong relationships with the Tele-Sales team to achieve sales targets is essential.
Candidates should have prior experience in a similar automotive environment with a proven track record in trade parts sales. We seek an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter with excellent relationship-building and sales achievement skills in a B2B environment. IT literacy, especially in Excel and Word, and ideally experience with CDK/Kerridge, are required. Financial performance monitoring and shortfall management skills are essential. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills are also necessary.
