Start Your Career with Plexus Innovation LTD
This role is working for Plexus Innovation as part of the HSL Compliance Group. Working for Plexus as an Operations Coordinator means playing a key role in keeping a growing IoT technology business running smoothly. You’ll work closely with technical, delivery, and sales teams, helping turn innovative monitoring solutions into reliable, real-world outcomes for clients in housing, healthcare, and facilities management. It’s a hands-on role where organisation, problem-solving, and attention to detail have a direct impact on service quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
* Manage stock levels in line with forecast demand, coordinating deliveries with manufacturers and maintaining accurate records.
* Receive, book-in and quality check hubs and nodes, recording outcomes and non-conformances in line with ISO9001 requirements.
* Configure, reprogram and allocate devices for deployment, including serial and SIM allocation where required.
* Generate delivery notes and dispatch documentation; arrange shipping and confirm successful delivery to customer sites.
* Monitor SIM deployment and usage, manage SIM stock, recycle/disable inactive SIMs and investigate connectivity issues via third-party dashboards.
* Proactively monitor the Plexus network to identify offline hubs, low-signal sites, battery end-of-life and device faults, driving resolution via SOPs.
* Coordinate returns, replacements and refurbishment activity, including fault checks and troubleshooting with debug cables when required.
* Support customer onboarding: dashboard setup (companies, sites, users/permissions), shipping, installation planning and training coordination.
* Provide first-line customer support and coordinate field engineer site visits, travel and accommodation for installations and remedial works.
* Maintain SharePoint documentation and controlled records in line with ISO standards; produce operational and performance reporting for senior management.
What We’re Looking For
* Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and a high standard of record keeping (stock, serials, delivery notes and audit trails).
* Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams, both written and verbal.
* Practical problem-solving mindset; comfortable troubleshooting devices and using dashboards to investigate issues.
* Experience with stock control, logistics/shipping or operations coordination (hardware or technical environments beneficial).
* Comfortable working with connected devices/SIMs/mobile networks, or keen to learn quickly.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint/document control is an advantage.
* Understanding of ISO processes (e.g. ISO9001) or willingness to support audits, SOPs and continuous improvement.
* Able to work calmly under pressure, take initiative and collaborate effectively across teams.
