We’re looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join an established technology services provider, delivering high-level technical support and contributing to infrastructure and cloud projects.
This is a senior technical role focused on complex issue resolution, project delivery, and supporting the wider support team.
You’ll provide advanced 3rd Line Support across a Microsoft-centric environment, taking ownership of escalations and working on a mix of operational and project-based work.
1. Delivering 3rd Line Support whilst owning and resolving complex technical incidents
2. Leading server, network and cloud projects
3. Supporting and mentoring 1st and 2nd line engineers
4. Making effective technical decisions during critical incidents
Technical Stack
5. Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft operating systems
6. Hyper-V and virtualised environments
7. Microsoft 365 and Azure
8. Server and network installations
What We’re Looking For
9. Proven experience in a senior 3rd Line Support role
10. Strong Microsoft infrastructure and virtualisation knowledge
11. Confident, proactive and service-focused
12. Able to work independently and as part of a team
The role is based in Princes Risborough with flexible and hybrid working (around two days per week in the office). There will be occasional site visits when delivering projects.
A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
