Warehouse Supervisor PM
Mediq UK is opening a new site in Castle Donington and is now recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our PM shift.
Hours: 2pm - 10.30pm
In this role, you will ensure that day-to-day operations are completed accurately in accordance with specific customer requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities
* Discharge duties safely in accordance with relevant procedures.
* Supervise operational processes to ensure correct dispatch of customer orders, scheduling staff and equipment to optimize efficiency.
* Plan workloads to ensure goods are stored, picked, processed, and loaded onto vehicles per company KPIs.
* Motivate the team through effective communication, coaching, and team-building measures.
* Manage your time to meet daily objectives, develop procedures, and take on additional responsibilities.
* Understand and meet internal and external customer needs.
* Comply with health and safety procedures and report risks.
* Manage and coach staff to achieve high standards.
* Monitor and record accuracy levels, liaising with managers on errors.
* Organize and supervise offloading, put-away, and vehicle loading activities.
* Record statistics and redeploy staff as needed.
* Reduce discrepancies and errors through analysis.
* Investigate customer complaints with support from the Line Manager.
* Ensure timely stock replenishments.
* Address performance or conduct issues in liaison with the Line Manager.
* Support Health & Safety compliance.
* Maintain clear work areas and uphold safe working practices.
* Record KPIs and discuss performance with the Line Manager.
* Lead and manage projects to improve operations.
