Functional Skills Tutor – Nottingham (NG9)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Functional Skills Tutor to support students in the Nottingham (NG9) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners develop essential English and Maths skills and achieve their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one or small group Functional Skills tuition (English and Maths)
* Support students in building core literacy and numeracy skills
* Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Encourage engagement, confidence, and progression
* Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:
* Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills (English and Maths)
* Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A patient, supportive, and flexible approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
Working Hours:
* Part-time / flexible
* Typically weekdays (Monday to Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
