Regulatory Solicitor – Leeds A leading national legal practice is seeking a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its highly regarded Health & Care Regulatory team, with a particular focus on local authority work. This is a senior opportunity within a well-established team advising organisations across health, social care, housing and education. The Opportunity The team operates across multiple UK offices, with a fully flexible hybrid working model that supports home working as the norm. You will join a large, collaborative group of specialist Lawyers working across advisory and litigation matters. The role has a strong focus on local authority clients, particularly in: Children’s services Court of Protection work SEND matters You will also have exposure to broader regulatory and public law work, including inquests and related advisory matters. This is a senior position offering the opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload, contribute to strategic client development and play an active role in shaping team direction and growth. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of advisory and contentious matters Advocate in Court of Protection hearings and Tribunals Provide high-quality legal advice to local authority and public sector clients Support and contribute to business development activity, particularly within the local government sector Assist with supervision and mentoring of junior colleagues Build and maintain strong client relationships Contribute to wider team strategy and service development About You This role will suit an experienced public law or Regulatory Lawyer who is confident operating at a senior level within a client-facing environment.
