TRC has teamed up with a small, forward-thinking provider of nursing and residential homes in the Cornwall and Devon areas. An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the operational management of a family-owned and operated care home group with an outstanding reputation with the CQC. Small enough to know every resident and all team members but also big enough to make an impact on the lives of over 500 people (200 residents, 300 staff).
The role would require daily travel across 5 services.
Requirements: Must have previous experience as a Registered Manager and ideally experience of multisite management.
Duties:
* Collaborate with the Registered Managers and other teams to establish best practices and attain 'good' or 'outstanding' ratings with regulatory partners.
* Ensure legal and ethical compliance across all care home business tasks and operations.
* Oversee and be accountable for the commercial targets of services, managing profit and loss to achieve established targets.
* Effectively and confidentially manage data and information.
* Identify new business opportunities, represent the company professionally, and promote business growth.
* Provide exceptional customer care, including conducting relevant risk assessments.
* Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and support of new employees, leading to successful outcomes during probationary periods.
* Ensure safe working environments for staff, investigate accidents and complaints, and maintain Health and Safety records.
* Conduct audits and action plans to ensure the service exceeds business and regulatory compliance.
* Provide information, advice, and support to residents, families, and staff.
* Promote residents' rights and duties, encouraging their participation in activities.
