Technical Support Specialist
Department: New Product Development / Technical
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Our client is a leading UK supplier of Window & Door Hardware and ancillary products.
Responsibilities
* Front-line technical support for customers
* Front-line technical support for internal & external sales teams
* Maintain our library of profile related documentation
* Support the technical team relating to the product training programme for the business
* Support colleagues with key procedures relating to our test equipment
* Assist in the New Product Development processes as required
* Support colleagues in the Quality Control procedures as required
* Support colleagues in producing greenteQ technical documentation
Key Requirements
* Knowledge of fenestration hardware solutions within the PVCu, Aluminium and timber sectors of the market
* A problem solver
* Customer relations experience
* Experience with CAD software packages would be a benefit, but not essential
* Experience with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Experience with CRM systems and advantage
* Full clean driving licence
