About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Worcester. If you are an experienced Nurse this is a great opportunity to join their friendly surgical team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The services has 4 theatres, 25 beds, a state- of- the- art endoscopy suite, oncology suite and dedicated clinics. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Senior Nurse to join the team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse on a surgical ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
8. Deliver excellent patient care to meet the needs of every patient
9. Ability to lead and coordinate team
10. Troubleshoot and raise concerns to the Ward Sister or Matron
11. Provide support to the nursing team, HCA’s and Ward Sister
12. Delegate work to others where appropriate
13. Competent to make safe discharge decisions working with our consultant team
14. Assessing patients health and well – being across a complex and changing caseload
15. Actively promote best practice
16. Contribute towards improvements
Who we’re looking for
17. Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
18. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
19. At least 3 years experience on a surgical ward in the UK
20. Experience working as a Senior Nurse in a surgical unit
21. Autonomous decision maker
22. Able to showcase excellent patients care
23. Strong communication skills
24. Flexible and eager to learn
