This thriving secondary school in Dartford is looking for a passionate Humanities Teacher to inspire students across KS3 and KS4. Whether it's uncovering historical mysteries, debating ethical dilemmas, or exploring global cultures, this role is all about making learning engaging and thought-provoking.
Contract: Full time, Long term – September 2025 start
Salary; £162 - £223 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and interactive humanities lessons that encourage curiosity and discussion.
* Create a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel confident exploring new ideas.
* Support students in developing analytical thinking and historical reasoning.
* Enhance the curriculum with creative and interactive learning experiences.
* Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs, ensuring all students can succeed.
* Work closely with support staff and specialists to tailor learning experiences for individual students
Qualifications & Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in history, geography, or religious studies.
* Experience teaching KS3-KS4 students.
* Ability to motivate and engage students in both theoretical and discussion-based lessons.
