We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected children’s residential care provider who are opening a new 3-bed home in Whitchurch, supporting young females affected by or at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE). This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new service with the full backing of a trusted and values-led organisation. About the Home: * A small, purpose-built home offering therapeutic care to young people with a background of exploitation, trauma, and abuse. * Fully supported by a multi-disciplinary team including therapists, senior support staff, and a strong regional leadership team. * Committed to trauma-informed, attachment-aware practice that prioritises safety, trust, and recovery. Your Role as Registered Manager: As the Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, compliance, and development of the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations and provides outstanding care. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the home in line with Ofsted and Children’s Home Regulations * Build and develop a strong, skilled, and resilient staff team * Ensure safeguarding is paramount and embedded in all practice * Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and placement progression * Drive a trauma-informed culture that supports recovery and emotional wellbeing * Liaise effectively with social workers, external agencies, and families * Achieve and maintain high inspection outcomes * Support growth of the service and promote a stable, nurturing environment What We’re Looking For: * Experience managing or deputising in an Ofsted-regulated children’s home * Strong knowledge of CSE, trauma, and safeguarding frameworks * NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services) or working toward * Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to therapeutic care * A confident leader who can balance compassion with structure and accountability What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience) * Annual performance-related bonuses * Support from a highly experienced senior leadership team * Opportunities to shape a new home from the ground up * Ongoing training and development, including therapeutic and CSE-specific training * Genuine career progression within a growing provider Apply now to take the lead in a new, specialist children’s home and help make a life-changing difference in the lives of young people who need it most
