In the HGV Mechanic / Technician role, you will be: Carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to HGVs and other service vehicles Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and undertaking appropriate repairs Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and manufacturer guidelines Keeping accurate records of work carried out and parts used Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative workshop environment To be successful in the HGV Technician, you will need: A recognised qualification in heavy vehicle maintenance/repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Proven experience working on HGVs and specialist vehicles A valid HGV driving licence (Category C or CE) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience in multi-make commercial vehicle maintenance and diagnostics Strong electrical fault-finding skills using diagnostic equipment This is a temporary role for a period of 1 month initially, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You’ll be based on site in Llandudno Junction and on an hourly rate IRO £18.41 (£35412 per annum), plus weekly pay, holiday accrual, pension and other benefits.
