Permanent, Full Time – 40 Hours
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our growing Refurbishment business for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our North Regeneration region, based on sites across Nottingham, Sheffield, and Doncaster.
Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day to day financial, cost control and reporting of one or more developments.
Responsibilities
* Supporting project delivery whilst achieving target margins
* Ensuring all necessary contractual processes have been observed and notices issued
* Preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts including all necessary measurement
* The management of the variation account
* Site visits to monitor subcontractor activity and build up payments and working closely with site teams and clients
Qualifications
* Proactive, talented and ambitious individual with a formal qualification in a relevant subject
* Previous quantity surveying and NHF SOR experience within the construction industry
* Client‑driven with strong decision making and communication skills
* Excellent communication skills, strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills
* Ability to prioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities
