Framework's Elizabeth House Service is a well-established service based in Daybrook providing accommodation and support for homeless people from the Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe areas often with a range of complex support needs. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates who can demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing those affected by homelessness; No experience is necessary, but you must have an understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable adults.
You'd be working between hours of 09:30pm – 09:00am with some variations. You will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Duties & Responsibilities
* To ensure that clients and the building are safe and secure.
* To be responsible for recording relevant information and sharing information with their co-workers and managers.
* To work with support planners to build the skills and confidence of service users, to empower them in maximising their independence.
* Maintain the health and safety of the general building, including regular checks and reporting issues.
* To deliver a service which maintains a safe environment.
* To contribute to the achievement of contractual service obligations.
* To work in partnership with other agencies to maximise service delivery.
* Build effective relationships with service users referred into and living at the service, whilst maintaining boundaries with calm and consistent professional practice.
* Complete Welfare checks and resident at risk checks.
* Ad-hoc tasks such as paperwork, filing, printing and keeping areas tidy.
