Overview of the Role

Key Duties
* Providing personal care – bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding assistance.
* Medication administration.
* Assisting and getting involved in residents’ daily activities, hobbies or outings.
* Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures.
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents.
* Maintaining written daily records.
* Attending and completing training as required.

Where will you work?
Stroud Lodge, a large, Victorian detached property two miles from Gloucester City centre. The home supports nine men and women of varying ages with learning difficulties, autism and associated complex needs, including those with behaviour that challenges.
The kitchen is fully equipped; meals are prepared by staff and residents. Residents can choose alternative meals. The home offers an in‑house activity programme and encourages participation in community activities such as college courses, horse riding, cinema trips, and local attractions. Residents also travel for holidays to places like Rome and New York City.
