Hours: Include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Kitchen team finishes by 8:30 pm. Breakfast shifts start at 7 am until approximately 10:30 am.
Salary: £35,100
Job Overview
We are recruiting for a Head Chef at a hotel in Weston-super-Mare.
Skills and Qualities:
* Controlling and directing food preparation and leading the team.
* Managing within budget constraints and controlling costs per head.
* Overseeing stock replenishment and conducting monthly stock checks.
* Maintaining legislative records and ensuring health and safety standards.
* Holding a Level 3 Hygiene Certificate or willing to obtain one.
* Managing kitchen operations effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of culinary trends and kitchen processes.
* Aligning with organizational values and contributing positively.
* Understanding health and safety in kitchen environments.
