About the Role
As Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for the leadership, development, and performance of Rosedean House Surgery. Working closely with our Central Support Team, you’ll manage daily operations, team performance, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability, all while driving our growth and quality ambitions. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager who is a confident, people-first leader with a strategic mindset and operational rigour, ready to lead the transformation of the practice with a supportive on site and central team.
With support from our central People, Finance, quality and Clinical teams, this is your opportunity to shape a practice and make a meaningful impact every day, supported by the Network Operations Manager for the South.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead both operational excellence and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary site team, creating a positive, empowered culture
2. Ensure effective communication, 1-2-1s, appraisals, and development pathways
3. Champion innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
4. Oversee daily running of the practice including staffing, clinics, and cover arrangements
5. Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, NHS contracts and internal policies
6. Manage inspections, audits, incidents, complaints and reporting
7. Lead on Health & Safety, IT, premises and risk management
8. Drive delivery of QOF, LES, DES, and all contract obligations
9. Ensure service quality, patient safety, and clinical governance standards are consistently met
10. Grow the registered patient list through local engagement and service excellence
11. Maximise income across NHS funded and private services
12. Lead budget planning and financial management
13. Monitor income/expenditure and ensure robust financial controls
14. Build trusted relationships with patients, PCNs, ICBs, local commissioners and community groups
What We’re Looking For
15. Senior leadership experience
16. Track record of successfully managing teams, contracts, and change
17. Strong understanding of NHS frameworks (QOF, CQC, KPIs, contract delivery)
18. Budget management and performance delivery
19. Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
20. Primary Care experience (desirable)

What We Offer
26. Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per annum (with scope to increase for an exceptional candidate)
