The role involves:
* Progressing Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs), liaising with street works on Traffic Management plans, and handling Traffic Management inquiries
* Investigating traffic management complaints and formulating solutions
* Organizing and monitoring all stages of Traffic Regulation Orders/Street Closure Orders, liaising with Legal Services, Greater Manchester Police, and notifying Ward Councillors
* Managing costs related to Traffic Regulation Orders
* Processing documentation for requests of temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
* Providing guidance to statutory undertakers on traffic engineering and assessing traffic implications under the New Roads and Street Works Act
* Possessing a full UK driving licence
* Handling schemes involving highway alterations following public or council complaints
* Detailing traffic regulation orders with precise dimensions to ensure legal compliance
* Using relevant design software such as CAD, Civils 3D, where appropriate
