Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
6. Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
7. Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding payment queries.
8. Support the accounting and finance team with administrative tasks.
9. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
10. To assist with internal and external auditors as and when required.
11. Contribute to improving processes within the purchase ledger function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Purchase Ledger should have:
12. Experience in purchase ledger or similar accounting roles.
13. A good understanding of accounting and finance principles.
14. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
15. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
16. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
17. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
