Job Description
3. Manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are recorded accurately.
4. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
5. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
6. Prepare and distribute client statements and reports as required.
7. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for the accounting & finance team.
8. Work closely with internal teams to address and resolve billing queries.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications with clients.
10. Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance credit control operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Previous experience in a credit control or similar role within the professional services industry.
12. A solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, particularly accounts receivable processes.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
14. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
15. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
