Job Opportunity: Reception 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Reception 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a school located just outside of Lancaster. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to a child with SEN, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential.
Requirements:
* A qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
* Demonstrated experience working within classroom settings and familiarity with the national curriculum.
* Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
* Ability to travel to the school via car.
* Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to a Reception student with SEN, helping them to engage with learning activities and achieve their learning goals.
* Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and accommodations for the student.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of the student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
