Maintenance Electrician, South West, UK - Wales, UK
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working around the South Wales area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.
The role involves working as part of a team at various sites in the region, undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The purpose of this role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant. The sites include high street clothing shops, care homes, offices, hotels, gyms, etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Support other technicians with maintenance work.
2. Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales, ensuring accurate paperwork.
3. Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repairs promptly.
4. Ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
5. Attend other sites within the cluster as needed.
6. Maintain quality standards and represent the company professionally.
7. Perform tasks according to KPIs.
Qualifications:
* NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations/parts 1 & 2 or recognized apprenticeship equivalent.
* 18th Edition qualification.
Salary & Package:
* Basic Salary: £37,000 plus standby payment.
* Travel paid door-to-door.
* Overtime rates.
* Call Out: 1 in 6/7 (retainer paid on top of salary).
* 23 days holiday, rising to 26 with service, plus 8 bank holidays.
* Company vehicle with private use and fuel card.
