The role
Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Hands-on experience in networking, IT, and communications Prior experience as a network engineer within an IT department Experience supporting Juniper SRX-based networks, including cyber patches and issue investigations Understanding of Microsoft, Windows, Linux, or coding environments is advantageous Ability to investigate problems and provide solutions to complex network issues Degree in engineering or equivalent IT-related experience Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve technical issues across existing networks and systems Support multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of technical outputs Implement and configure new systems and solutions Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to deliver quality outputs Assist with system implementations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Develop processes and support the team by sharing knowledge and providing practical solutions Maintain high standards of professionalism in a structured IT environment Technologies: Support Linux Network Security Windows More: We are a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, offering a permanent Network Engineer - Juniper opportunity in Portsmouth.
