Role Purpose
Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects for various Rolls Royce sites. You will ensure projects are delivered to meet Integral & Rolls Royce’s standards in regard to health, safety, quality, cost and programme, whilst complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18 and CSO6 Rolls Royce standards. You must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc.
What You Will Be Doing
* Have responsibility for the execution of projects with potential values between £50k and £15m, across various Rolls‑Royce sites in Filton, Bristol.
* Manage projects according to NEC3 Framework Contract, ensuring delivery to agreed programme.
* Provide health and safety leadership to site delivery teams, promoting behavioural safety improvements and ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Support project risk management, establishing controls for safe and timely delivery.
* Lead in production of risk‑management quotes and estimates.
* Maintain client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, development support to direct reports and trainees.
* Work closely with Senior Design Manager to produce robust, workable economic and constructable designs.
* Support project opportunities to improve commercial performance.
* Liaise with Rolls‑Royce Project Managers to ensure compliance with MS18, CS06, and current delivery programme and cost plan.
* Ensure highest quality standards per programme delivery, British Standards, codes of practice, Rolls‑Royce Standards.
* Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free.
* Ensure post‑completion deliverables such as final accounts and O&M information delivered within contracted timescales.
What We Will Need From You
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within Civil Engineering/Construction industry (essential).
* Experience in Civils or Building projects within Nuclear/Defence/Aviation industry (highly desirable).
* SC level security clearance (required).
* Experience with NEC3 Contracts (essential).
* Experience managing health and safety procedures across multiple sites (essential).
* Experience preparing quotations and estimates (essential).
* Strong understanding of customers’ business requirements (essential).
* City & Forum /NVQ construction qualification (essential).
* SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid (essential).
* Competent user of MS Office, Fieldview or similar tablet‑based QA software (essential).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (essential).
* High level organisational and time management skills (essential).
* Self‑motivated, proactive, initiative, problem‑solving (essential).
