Job Description:

Role Summary: Brook Street is supporting Homes England in recruiting a Temporary Office Manager based in Newcastle. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times, located at the Newcastle office with a hybrid working pattern (50%). The position is available ASAP, initially until September 2025, with a possibility of extension. The pay rate is £13.51 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing junior management support and administrative duties of moderate complexity.
* Following set procedures and exercising independent judgment under supervision.
* Preparing correspondence, verifying data, and reporting.
* Monitoring email inboxes, maintaining lists, and arranging meetings.
* Completing forms or reports and managing small team workloads if required.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Administrative experience with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements:

* Ability to pass a Basic Disclosure check.
* Proof of right to work in the UK (ID documents).
* Reference details for the last 3 years.
