I am looking to recruit for a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant role for a business based near Oakham. This is an excellent role for someone with substantial Purchase Ledger experience who has also supported junior members of staff.

Description
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of purchase ledger transactions.
Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Liaise with suppliers to address queries and maintain strong relationships.
Contribute to process improvements within the purchase ledger function.
Provide support to the wider team as required.Profile
A successful Senior Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
Relevant experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
Experience supporting junior members of staff.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.Job Offer
