Overview
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Warwickshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. This role is part of Targeted Provision, a child-centred company focused on transforming support for vulnerable learners.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are interested in 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with diverse learning needs, delivered in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Work with local authorities and schools to support educational and social-emotional development
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to support progress
Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver engaging sessions aligned to the learner’s needs and goals
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance with obtaining at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* UK-based with right to work (including remote/online)
It is a strict requirement to promote health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Status
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payment
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance coverage provided by Targeted Provision
* Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
