Duties
* Lead and supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure top-quality dishes are delivered consistently.
* Oversee menu planning and development, incorporating innovative ideas while maintaining cost efficiency and dietary considerations.
* Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Coordinate with the catering and banquet teams to execute large-scale events seamlessly, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
* Oversee shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels, smooth workflow, and adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house staff to ensure cohesive service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Skills
* Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining settings.
* Proven supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
* Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to adapt menus accordingly.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff.
* Expertise in food production, food handling, and food safety standards.
* Experience in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems.
* Skilled in menu planning, catering coordination, and restaurant or hospitality management.
* Familiarity with shift management, food service operations, and catering logistics.
* Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines along with bartending knowledge is a plus.
* Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
