We are seeking enthusiastic English Tutors to support pupils across Newcastle in building their literacy skills, boosting confidence, and achieving academic success. Tuition may take place in the home, a school, or a community hub.
Tutor Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging English sessions tailored to each pupil’s needs.
* Support reading, writing, grammar, and exam preparation.
* Monitor progress and update our bespoke cloud-based tracking system.
* Inspire learners by building positive relationships and promoting a love of language.
Essential Tutor Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 or 4.
* Experience tutoring English outside of the classroom or supporting additional needs.
* Patience, adaptability, and creativity in explaining concepts.
* Qualified Teacher Status in English or equivalent tutoring experience.
